Will the bag really fit inside my washing machine?
The Equine Laundry Bag™ has been designed to fit inside a standard domestic washing machine, top loader or industrial machine.
Can I really put a rug inside the bag?
The Equine Laundry Bag™ is designed to fit lightweight rugs only e.g. Fleeces, Coolers, Liners and Fly Sheets etc and has been tested on lightweight rug sizes up to 6'6". The Equine Laundry Bag™ is not suitable for use with reproofing products, which could interfere with the washing capability of the bag.
How many Numnahs can I fit inside the bag?
We recommend one Numnah at a time fully opened and not folded to achieve a maximum clean. For a more economical wash after placing your Numnah in the bag your dirty stable clothes or jeans etc., can be washed on the outside.
Can I use fabric softener/conditioner?
Fabric softener/conditioner may be used, however when washing all animal products we do not recommend the use of conditioners as this could cause an allergic reaction to your pet.
Can I use Biological soap powders?
We do not recommend products containing any bleaching agents, which could harm your pets skin or the Equine Laundry Bag™.
Will I have to run and extra rinse cycle to clean my machine?
The Equine Laundry Bag™ has been designed to keep the debris inside the bag so that you don't need to run that extra expensive rinse cycle which is bad for the environment and wastes water and electricity.
Can I wash whites etc inside the bag?
The Equine Laundry Bag™ has been designed to wash all colours providing no bleeding has occurred from a previous wash.
Do my laundry bags need cleaning?
We recommend after every wash that you turn the bags inside out to remove the debris. A Velcro® Cleaner can be used on the Velcro® closure when necessary. For Brushing Boots containing waxed sand, please rinse the boots separately before washing in the bags and make sure that the waxed sand doesn't come into contact with any other products.
Will the Velcro® snag my delicates or Lycra® products?
For worry free washing, roll over the hook side (rough surface) so that the Velcro® is now protected from snagging delicates.
